Live a life of righteousness

In The book Titus, Paul explains what teaching he wants Titus to teach. He encourages him to show how to live. He explains what is expected in Christian living. I think we can sometimes forget that as Christians we should live a certain way, that we are called to live a life of righteousness.
I know that we will never be perfect this side of eternity, however that is what we should be striving towards. We should be aiming to live a life that glorifies God.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
It teaches us to say No to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self- controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope— the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

We have been saved by the grace of God, therefore, we need to lead lives that show Jesus that we honour Him and want to live only for Him. We need to make sure that our day to day lives include Jesus. We need to make sure that what we do and what we say are righteous before God, which will lead others to come to know Him.
